my yearly post

Ok so the music industry isn't doing so well. The Radio industry isn't doing so well either. So how is it that you're going to get your music now? How do you find new music? It's all there on the internet, but if you don't know what you're looking for how do you find it? Maybe you'll be lucky and the stars will align and introduce you to the Fleet Foxes or maybe you read something in a Weekly about Glasvegas...is luck really all that reliable when you're jonesing for some new music? I've been addicted to Rhapsody for about a year, its pretty good about recommending contemporaries (RIYL)...but what it lacks is opinion. Ok so band A is similar to band B, but band A totally owns while band B sucks worse than that girl in high school with the big teeth. I guess what i'm getting at is I'm going to take it upon myself to post music and videos here in hopes that having an immensly popular blog riddled with said media will somehow save the music industry. It won't, but don't tell me that...just let me continue living the lie.

I will be making an attempt to post weekly, and each week there will be one song and one video minimum...shall we begin???
